CYBERWARE

Cyberware is a catch all term for electronic and mechanical systems implemented to replace parts of
or enhance the metahuman body. Everything from increased strength and speed, to retractable razors 
(a favorite of the street samurai) is possible.

However, there are limitations. First, all cyberware has two costs -- a monetary value, and an
essence cost. In Shadowrun the process of dehumanizing and losing tissue causes the wielder to lose 
part of their 'life force', or essence. Therefore, the maximum amount of cyberware one can use is 
directly related to what the essence cost of the cyberware is and your essence.

While cyberware can easily be removed and replaced at any time by a competent street doc, there is
no known method to reacquiring essence once lost.
