INITIATIVE Initiative determines how fast you can react in a fight. This is affected by your Reaction, random dice roll, and certain installed cyberware and bioware implants. Your initiative value can be seen on your score sheet. In a combat round, the real life equivalent of three seconds, participants roll initiative to determine the order of attacks. For every 10 points by which your result exceeds 1 (11-20, 21-30, etc.) you gain an extra attack during the round. These occur in initiative order, not all at once. However, all participants in a combat are allowed to act at least once before participants are allowed to utilize their extra attacks. See Also: SCORE, REACTION, REFLEXES
